Hello, can anyone help with a little guidance? (A couple of days ago, I tagged this query onto the end of a previous relevant thread viewtopic.php?f=33&t=33113, but it may have got lost there.)
My dishwasher is an Indesit D41, and the fault is intermittent; sometimes it works fine, other times it cuts the program short without heating the water, and gives a faster #4 (right-hand) LED flash.
The heater element is ok when checked (can these give an intermittent fault, or would it just die completely, if it was faulty?).
Is it worth replacing the thermistor (68p from Maplins!) as per the previous thread? If it’s the PCB, which one do I need?
Oh, and the fault first appeared shortly after I had replaced a burned-out (black and crispy!) temperature sensor; could this have damaged the PCB?

Correct part number for this machines PCB is C00086607. It is a little dearer than the normal 100 bit timer card, over £45.00 ex vat.
Your machine is different to the DE43 one that you linked to.
Heater very rarely fails intermittantly.
With regard to the temp sensor, a change in the wind will damage Indesit electronics so anything is possible. :rolls:

Not sure TBH, it is a completely different PCB and the picture does not show an attached thermistor, that doesn’t mean to say it does not have one though. 😥

For the sake of 68p (and a couple of pounds p&p) I’ll order the thermistor and then have a look next time it lets me down (it’s been ok the last few times – temperamental thing!) :rolls:
