    this oven trips the fuse board after 25secs use when you use the teperature regulator. ..customer says that her daughter MAY have put the oven into self clean mode when it was cooking normally and then switched it back. checked operations…
    1) oven with fan…….trips
    2) full and half grill with fan …ok but use the temp reg and it trips.
    3) full and half grill without fan and no temp reg…ok
    so any function which includes the temp reg it trips after 25 secs…
    NOTE… the cooker cicuit on the fuse boared does not trip but the main switch does..
    any ideas…too many trees for me !!!!

    My money is on the fan element shorting -the grill is linked to the fan element and a small damp reading would trip a sensitive elcb.
    I had the problem recently and a new fan element cured it.

    urban, thanks for the tip, i’ve had another suggestion ….the base element.. so tomorrow i’ll check them both and post results..

    UPDATE….put a megger on the base element and it passed ok, same for fan element. disconected base element and …no trip ALL WELL on this one.!!!!!!!! ordered new element…special order, but at least the customer can cook!!!
