ParticipantWell I suppose it was only a matter of time before my bench top spaceship (Baby Haier Dishwasher) decided to give in to the ping of continuous bleep & die. Bear in mind it was second hand when I bought it for £25 and so it has lasted almost 2yrs. – I suppose I am lucky to have lasted that long!!!!
I am going to enjoy slinging it’s carcass into the Waste Disposal Point and hope the crusher gives it a damm good crushing. 😈
and now for a new Bosch one…………

KeymasterThat’s a ripe old age for a Haier machine.
People still buy them though, they look cheap so people assume it’s a bargain. 😕
Poor veloce is looking to buy one in this thread as it’s cheap but, there’s a reason for that. 😉

I bought it off a friend and it was 4yr old then so 6yrs? probably a record in Haier Terms. Now I am having problems trying to source a Bosch Compact machine. According to one indy I rang this morning, he advises the machine is now discontinued. I have asked John Lewis’s in town and am awaiting a phonecall. Failing that a bigger kitchen needed or a Proline One?…….the thought fills me with fear! 😥

WQHi WQ
The SKT5102GB table top dishwasher is not discontinued, it is still a current model and is in stock at Bosch, I just checked on their online ordering system 😉 So there`s no reason why you shouldn`t be able to source one.
If that fails then try the Bosch dealer locator for someone near you who may be able to help.

Thanks Don for the info.
What a carry-on I have had with this. John Lewis rang me to say they couldn’t get a one, several indies rang didn’t want to know, Bosch UK not very helpfull, one girl I spoke to was even adamant they didn’t make such a ruddy thing so small. Eventualy I rang a firm in Morpeth (20miles away) who were able to help and so I now am the proud owner of a Baby Bosch. – The chap was very helpfull and advised that the only thing the machine may fail with is the heaters are very prone to going, but not to expensive to replace. – So here’s to Bosch and my 2yrs warranty!

Heater will only fail if you do the oversoaping thang…. We’ve discussed that before.
Good luck with it.
