ParticipantHelp please, been out to one of these d/ovens, the fan element was o/c and also the fan motor isn’t working. Tested the motor, all ok, but not getting any supply to it. I’ve replaced the power module and display module, but it still won’t work 😕 any idea’s.
MervBTW. I have replaced the element, that now works. Just no fan.

Hiya,
Had a quick look at the wiring diagram.
Live appears to be fed directly to the motor. Nuetral from the pcb.
There is a lower cavity temperature limiter on the nuetral to the pcb, check this limiter. 2nd Nuetral goes to the circular element.
If all is well I can only suggest you meter to check the wiring is ok.Brian

Thanks very much for the info, I’ve got live there, losing the neutral, it looked like the neutral was direct from the pcb, which is why I changed it. Do you happen to have the part number for the limiter?

Hiya,
Part number I’ve got is 4812 282 28209. Don’t quote me on it being faulty though, just what I’ve read in the diagram. 😕Brian

Hi Brian, Is it possible I could get a copy of the wiring diagram. I’ve been back out to the oven, the temp limiter is ok, and have been through the wiring and all looks ok.It does point to the pcb which has already been replaced, so I’m a bit reluctant to order another one.
It is possible that someone may have had a go at it before me.
Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks alot Brian, went back armed with the info you gave me, and it turned out to be the neutral from the cooling fan and the oven fan had been swapped at some stage. Customer said it has been like it since new 😯 .
