hi all been to this about 3 months ago and the front balance weight had fell off and when i got there the front of the machine was being held on by the interlock wires. i rebuilt the front weight which is held on by a clamp ring as well as the front face nice and tight, all has been well until today when it has happened again the clamp is still tight and it has been running fine for months.are there any mods or is this a common problem?

    cheers chris.

i didnt make myself clear the weight is fine it had just fell off it is held on by a clamp like the old servis w/m back plates and also the front face is held on the same. it has worked fine for a few months and has fell off again.

Not a problem happening now, I remember the Maxx w/ms weights falling off 😆
They have since changed the way its held.
Sorry can’t be of any real help.

Replace the front plate seal, ensuring you get the lip pulled over the edge. You’ll find that the clamp band will do up further, thus pulling more of it over the edge of the front plate and weight. Do it flat on its back so it all stays centralised.

    Chris.
