this model keeps stopping with the tap sign on the display ive checked everything i can and all seems ok im now thinking of replacing the fill hose am i on the right track? or any ideas welcome

Providing there is sufficient water pressure and you can hear it fill, I would go with a faulty flow meter/impellor jug; p/no 424099 😉
