    my fridge temperature readout started flashing & then the fridge temp went to 16 & the freezer went to -5, any ideas

    Hi

    Defrost sensor in the freezer section (yellow wires),This model is a single cooling one.The cooling comes from the freezer.

    thanks,i unplugged it for a couple of hours and everything ok.rang samsung they said if it happens again will send out engineer foc,given me a reference no.btw the fridge is nearly 4 years old with no warranty!

    It will happen again,for the sake of £14 is it worth losing a days wages ?

    Hi Bryan
    The only sensor i can find with yellow wires is the one
    behind the purple orb is that the defrost sensor ?

    I noticed it’s the white type so hopefully the newer black one
    should do the trick 😉
