ParticipantHi folks
Went to this today stuck on program with an AL5 fault.
According to service info AL5 = time out on fill or time to drain to long.
Cancel prog run through diagnostics – all componants function ok – base apears clear of water (although only tilted m/c to see if any ran out – pushed for time as “one of those days”). Ran it through rinse hold prog ok – although “pulse” wash had me going for a while thinking it wasn’t filling high enough (just sounds like motor hunting due to low water – what that all about “pulse wash” – just thought you want the crocks cleaned!!!)
Seems to all be working ok when I left it but just incase I get a call back – anyone had same probs with these and whats it likely to be..
Thanks
Mick

Hi Folks
Anyone any ideas on this one – been away for a week but got a call back on this to do.. worked ok for three times then same fault has come back again.. (sounds like a posible leak and it’s drying up when not in use?)
Not done this model before
Thanks… any ideas welcome

Clean out the tubes running across the front whilst you’re in there.

Thanks for the replies guys.. Been back today and stipped hoses off.. they didnt look to bad but corner of iwms tank where it fed into bottom hose was fairly blocked.. Had a poke about in there and back flushed to try and break gunge up and seemed to be working ok for now so thanks for the pointers..
Cust not prepaired to go to expense of new tank as it’s “over 5 yrs and old now and might as well put that money to a new one” was her reply :rolls: .. typical reply these days when anything over £100 is mentioned..
Looks bit of a bad design in that the bottom outlet has a support strut (presumably to stop the pipe collapsing with the tightness of the clip) and this allows the gunge to build up in the tank instead of flowing out into the hose which is easier to clean
Anyway thanks again..
