Hi, Ive just picked up and tried a scourer on a handle / block which takes scratches out of stainless steel cladding. tried it on some light scratches on a cladded door and some heavy marks on the side panels (more difficult but still improved on the deep ones).
This is made by 3M and comes in sheets. I dont know much more, but a little elbow power and the results were quite impressive, Then a wipe with an easy wipe cleaning cloth and looks good.
I have come across this thirdhand it originally came from the people who clad stainless steel machines for the trade.
Question: anyone seen these before and are they available here in the UK. Next question, would it be of interest for service engineers?

    Re: Stainless Steel Renovator

I used to use the rubberised blocks when I repaired Russel Hobbs SS kettles many moons ago, They were made by 3M as well and did pretty much what you’ve just described.

I’ve not seen the since I left that job though, but I’m sure they must be available.
