New Miele G1222 – brown residue – HELP

Hi,

Posted late last year as was having problems with an old Whirlpool, it cost more to replace the top basket than I paid for the machine second hand, so decided to go ahead and get a new one.

Decided on the G1222….its so quiet……its lovely….but 🙁

……..I have a problem with it…. the glasses and cups/mugs are not clean all of the time, there is a brown ish residue like grit on them, and the mugs don’t feel clean inside.

I have been using Finish classis tablets and also fairy in a vain attempt to see whether its them. I live in hard water area, so have set the machine to P16 (the water hardness think completely flumuxed me, so hope this is right….severn trent say 87 mg/l. ), and the rinse aid to P2 as was getting blueish tinge on the glasses.

Help, I’m sure its me or something I am not going as opposed to the machine……..at least I hope so. 😳
