On starting the dryer the fault code ‘dhe’ is displayed which the user manual says is a heater or thermostat fault. The circuit through the dryer heater, thermostat and what I assume is the toc, namely two white wires disappearing into the heater chamber, is continuous, the inlet valve coils are ok, and the machine works on wash. Can’t test the blower motor as there are 7 wires going into it and I don’t know how it’s designed. Can anybody shed any light on this problem or supply a workshop manual or schematic diagram/test programme/ diagnostic information?
