OK, i’m not asking for a job here it’s just some general advice i’m after.

Been with Hotpoint/Merloni 12+ years now and it’s been playing in the back of my mind for sometime that i need a change as i’m not really happy.

I’m all skilled up with the usual plus potman and Corgi for cookers and fires.

The pay is not bad from what i see other jobs advertised.

Would like to stay in the industry but don’t fancy changing washerdryer drums for the rest of my life.

What i’m trying to get at is the grass greener on the other side?
Are there any ‘good’ companies to work for?
I like the gas side of my work are there any companies that specialize in cookers.
I have looked at NEF (BSH home appliances) and some others.

    Thanks

Something inside my tiny brain wants to post, “he’ll be flying around all over the place” but that would be silly and also way :offtopic:

    Sorry. 😳 🙂

There are lots of good independent companies always on the lookout for good people.

The pay not always match that of the big boys but it tends to be more of a family and involving. It also tends to be less hassle and more relaxed.

But that’s just what I get told from the guys. 😉

If I were you I would be looking to get the extra Corgi tickets to do boilers. There has to be more of a future in central heating than Whitegoods.
