ParticipantHi Gents 🙂
Looks like the power module faulty on this but at the price of it I’m a bit hesitant just in case.
The display lights come on with the swirly led pattern, programme display arrives, select and then it all dissappears. Leave it a while and the display will come back. Ive checked 250v to the display board which when the fault occurs drops to 25v. Pretty sure on the diagnosis but have no experience on this machines peculiarities. Any help appreciated 😉 .TC

Fault(s) all found now.
Customer agreed to new power board, went back to fit and works first time. Display and everything for……about 15 seconds. This time it allowed me to start a wash though, so had to wait till programme finished to see whether it would still select. On further investigation found a slight dried waterstain on the inside of the display board casing and a puddle stain on the flush metal lid of the machine. Machine sited under the draining board and the customer (tennant) ‘ always uses the dishwasher’ even though there is a pile of washing up on the drainer :rolls: .
Priced up the display board and it comes in at a loverly £242 on Connect 😯 😯 😯
The landlords have six of these machines in this two year old new build so I guess they may be gtting more calls on these.
Expecting a difficult phone call on Monday 😥TC

This is going to be one of those days (weeks). Found out the price for the board from Whirlpool.
£309.82
I’m going back to bed to get ready for grief. With the main board already fitted at £200+ (adamant they wanted it repairing 😯 ) there’s only one loser in this 🙁TC
