I’m looking for a Philco WD1009SE motor; I can’t seem to find a part number for it. Is it obsolete?
This machine was running sweet as a nut so I fitted new suspension units in January. Guess what? The brushes wear down to limit and fraz the armature. Motor now makes a loud noise and then cuts out. Just great!! :rolls:
Any help with the part number, price and availability of the motor would be much appreciated!!
Depends what motor is already in there. If the Square “Metz” motor with a plastic pulley, you need to fit a kit.
Ref metz and siemens type motors. These motors are no longer available you must use the indesco motor. On all these older models you will need to replace the module and the interface.
Philco WD1009SE . Serial no. PFHS 95130590.
I don’t know the make of motor fitted, but this motor is small with a metal pulley and exposed brushes on a white plastic frame. The brushes are the same as WMA Hotpoint.
Sketchy I know, but that’s all the info I have. Sorry! Using Chris’ part numbers, the same motor comes up for both. The motor is very expensive – Connect want £136 + VAT. 😯
