I have a bosch dishwasher that keeps blowing pcbs. The heater was change but now pcbs keep blowing. Have carried out insulation test and the tests are all fine. Have tested pump and heater.

Dispenser relay’s are a common fault with blowing boards/triacs as are water point motors attached to heater boxes!

Did you have to wire change, configure the new board???

Look very closely at the PCB (magnifying glass if you must?) but check where the damage is. Often as not it’s a Triac that’s blown and a small chip of black plastic is missing from it. If you trace the PCB track to the nearest connector block it will lead you to the culprit, sure enough! 😉

Unfortunately with many Bosch/Neff/Siemens appliances (in common with other makes), they use single colour wiring harness leads (i.e all white wires, all orange or black even) But the good news is that whether its a 5 wire module plug or a 10 wire (whatever) those connector plugs are repeated down at least to the main terminal block point. So you don’t need to follow each and every individual wire to find it’s termination point (source) 😉

Just find a similar connector block and you will see they are the same wires in the very same sequential layout from module to connector block or module to component (e.g Bosch motor plugs)

    HTH?

P.s. Who’s paying for all these blown modules you’ve fitted anyway? 😉
