    Can anyone help.
    We bought the appliance (new) last March and it is has always been very noisy (you can hear it from from upstairs) with a constant humming. Also it seems to be very cold with items in the vegetable chiller often freezing. The noise stops as soon as you open the fridge door.
    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    You have a 2 year guarantee on that appliance 😀
    Before calling them out though, you might want to consider giving the appliance a 48 hour power down to fully defrost it and see if the noise returns. If it does then you have a genuine problem, if not it maybe that for some reson the defrost has not been effective ie – door left ajar allowing more than usual ice build up in and around the frost free fan.

    Thanks for the tip Greg. Have a really bad feeling that we did not register it for the guarentee. Problem definately not coming from the freezer section as there is no build up of ice there.

    Hi
    Registering is not mandatory for you to get the 2 year cover.
    Registering just means Domestic and General get your details so they can try and get you to take their extended warranty out after the 2 years has elapsed. 😉
