    Hi there,

I asked for advice a while back regarding my dishwasher which no longer heats up.

I have a multitester and have tested the element and at 200 i do get a reading, i’m not to sure exactly how to test it.

i read somewhere that you test it using resistance test RX1
what is this and how do i test it.

Sorry for sounding really thick, but i don’t want to get the wrong part if it turns out to be the element and not the pcb.

Can someone tell me how to test the element using digital mulitmeter.

    Thanks

    Neil

Pull plug from socket and heater. Measure across the terminals – you should get somewhere between 20-30 ohms depending on the wattage of the heater.
