    Hi folks

just a very quick and probably very stupid question but wanted advice before i go ahead and do it……..

I’ve just moved into a new house and there is nowhere to place my chest freezer and to be honest i really can’t do without it , the only place it can possibly go is in an upstairs spare bedroom which is fully carpeted and probably very warm in the summer months , is there any reason for not using it in this area it’s just that i’ve only ever known them to be used in kitchens storage areas sheds etc.

like i said probably a very stupid question but there you go…..

    Hi tannis

Not a stupid question at all 😉 the chest freezer will work fine in the spare room. If it gets too warm in the summer the freezer will work overtime resulting in reduced life. The more ventilation you can create the better, which will also reduce your electricity consumption.
