    sorry posted this in the general section accidentaly so moved it here ..

    Hi – hope someone can help .. I have a Hotpoint WM55p (1200 rpm ) washer, I have changed the brushes several times now, on the last change it ran fine for a month, then started to smell of burning.
    I have stripped down the motor to it major parts and cleaned it all with an air compressor. Still no joy. It is pre FHP (I think) and has this part number

    904/1158/11 800/1500 RPM

    I have found one for sale which is

    904/1158/10 800/1500 RPM and the details on the label look identical apart from the last digit .. what does this signify, and will it run okay in the WM55P ?
