Hi, I am trying to repair a Homark 01-722000 electric oven. Symptom: After setting a temp of – say 225C, the oven heats up to 150-175C then both the Red indicator on front panel and the internal lamp turn off. After it cools below 150C both come back on. I suspect the Safety Thermostat is faulty, but as unit is obsolete I cannot get a genuine replacement part. Rating is 220C 10A/230V, but no idea of format as have not seen the thing. Does anyone know of a suitable part from an alternative manufacturer?? Thanks

P/no OTHERMP114 as fitted to certain Diplomat models is rated at 220c. Available HERE, but obviously on your own head be it…….. 😀

Stay safe – power off when working on the machine.

Thanks Penguin45, for part number info. Is this a drop in replacement? I am an electronics engineer so know all about electrical safety.
Having said that, I once observed an old Boss of mine check whether a 1500 Amp busbar was live by licking his finger then swiping it across the bar. There was no hissing sound so he declared it to be off!
    Think he is still alive.
    Cheers

If yours has got two lugs for screws and two terminals, it should fit.
