Hi,
I’ve just been out to a WMA74 with the motor jumping into spin as soon as the program starts. I tried swapping the motor with one on the van and it had the same symptoms. I’ve looked for broken wiring and theres no sign of any.
Is it the front control panel? This is the digital display version.
I dont want to order it and it be wrong so i was just looking for a little advice. It is not often i’ve had to swap one of these types. I’ve swapped lots of the non- display version but i dont want to be wrong and be left with a panel I probably wont use again.Thanks for your time

You could check the continuity of the tacho coil connections at the board. Other than that it could be the motor speed triac short circuited. If you have a board with the same triac you could try changing it or at least compare in-circuit resistance readings with a known good triac.
