ParticipantHi all. anyone been to (stupid question) a Tricity Bendix Slimline d/w Model DH090 PNC 911731012-01 where goes through 1st wash ok on say 55 deg. next fill doesnt seem to fill enough for wash pump to circulate water and timer sticks on this action. Checked Heater resistance, continuity in tub ok, stat seems ok, cleared pressure pipe, and bottom sump hose any other suggestions cheers

Is the valve solenoid buzzing or the motor running with no water? If the valve is buzzing and not filling, the valve could be stopping the water due to blockages where the pink pressure hose is fitted to the front of the sump. Remove the hose and blow down it. The safety shut off diaphragm in the valve should click in and out. If OK, then check the nozzle the hose fits to is clear. If the wash motor is running with no water, check the other small hose which goes to the pressure switch. If the system is blocked, the switch will be stuck on “Full”. When the hose is pulled off its nozzle, the pressure switch will click off. Surefire blockage problem.
Inside the machine, remove the cover cap under the filter and check the blue syphon tubes. Then check the ‘U’ shaped hose underneath that links the syphon chambers. All of these items can be blocked and will give fill metering issues.
Finally, if all is clear (or cleaned and refitted) and then valve still will not fill, turn the machine to a cycle, hear the valve buzzing and firmly tap the inlet hose thumb nut (the piece that screws on the valve) with a hammer and the safety shut off diaphragm will reset itself and the machine will burst into life.Hope that helps,
Steve.

When all else fails, give the inlet valve a sharp tap………
