First of all good morning,the above m/c stopped ,customer been on tinternet snooping for clues,stumped so called me! Anyroad went into diagnostic mode & came up with E51 (Motor power triac short-circuited),s’pose this means main PCB but what causes the triac to go? I don’t want to fit one then it go pop again,checked motor for earth faults ,all ok!

just fit a new triac i pinch them off old boards all the time and they are easily available for a few pounds
have found the sensor for this is quite sensitive you may not get a reading on you meter but if you change it it will be ok
it will cost you nothing to try

Sealed tub machine – grab it if you can; I have instructions to get one and saw the tub up!

I heard Zanussi where supplying old style seperate /split tubs as a replacement!
