Hi,
Would you stock a replacement door & seal for a Schreiber APP6302 built in fridge? The seal looks like its pressed in so I think I’ll need both as a single unit.

Hi Andrew,
It’s only supplied as a complete door I’m afraid, it’s a foamed in seal. The good news is that it’s not ludicrously expensive.

The seals are available but to be honest the hassle in getting it off, the time and the new one never looks as good pay the extra and get the door but check the hinges as they do have a problem where they break

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Immediately after fitting the new door I found that something still wasn’t right. The old seal was definately burst (in a couple of places), but when I close the door it still doesn’t hold itself shut right.
I fiddled about and noticed that the hinges on the freezer door are identical and work well, the hinges on my freezer have a fair amount of up and down play and the spring no longer holds the door shut properly.
Is there any way of adjusting these hinges? I had a look but could see none.
@kwat: do you sell hinges for this model of freezer, I think I ought to replace both top and bottom.

Hi Andrew,
Yes the hinges will be goosed, they’re really well known on these machines as well as many others for failing.
The two upper and lower are different so you need one of each depending on the configuration but both are stock items and usually dispatched same day or next if it’s after about 3-4pm.
You can see from the diagram what I mean about the door configuration.
