This may save someone a lot of hair pulling, I got two machines that just agitated and wont start spin cycle, just like a RPS fault but no Error code.
After spending most of a day buggerising around with them and scratching of heads , one up and fixed itself then the other, this morning they got the same problem.
    THE CAUSE….

Both these machines live outside in -4deg frosts
the grease in the bearings was fozen up, not allowing the bowl to turn far enough to trigger the rps on start up setting of spin cycle. Needs to turn at least one third turn minimum any less seem to be no good.
    CURE….

Bring them inside, and use hot wash
(note to bearing manufactures, use thinner grease)

Dont think its the bearing grease. The motor has plenty of guts to turn the bowl.
There is something in the controller that inhibits on low temperature.

Gotta be grease or seal stiffness, a change of controllers and panel dint fix it. give that xtra 1/3 turn by hand away it goes, motor only seems to give one kick each way to sense posistion, and appears to rely on coasting the remainder of the way, if it dont coast freely it dont go. thats my story any way
