    The ceramic post of one of the spark lighters on the hob has cracked and come apart. The spark now leaks out the side and does not light the gas.
    Are spares of this part available? Can it be replaced easily?

    The ignition posts will probably be available from Whirlpool; but we cannot advise on the strip down and repair of gas appliances. A CORGI registered gas engineer is the only safe and legal route to repair any gas appliance. Sorry!!
