    I have a Fisher & Paykel washing machine that won’t completely drain. A repair person must have taken my diagnostic code guide, so I can use help diagnosing.

    The code is 00111 110. Anyone with a guide that can tell me what it means?

    62 – pump fault – drawing excess current. Might be worth checking for foreign objects restricting pump action, but you’ll probably have to replace it.

    Be careful, the pump is live as long as the machine is plugged in.

    You have mentioned in a couple of posts on this forum recentlly that the pump on F&P machines is live as long as the machine is plugged in. I have also heard that the pump is part of the control electronics circuitry. Is this in fact correct? Thanks and keep up the good work.

    Thanks for your reply. Where can I obtain a new diagnostics guide? F&P customer service was not very helpful.

    Phase 5 machines onwards use the pump as part of the power supply. As I can find no reference to a GWL10, it seemed prudent to include the warning.

    As for the diagnostic guide, I wasn’t aware that there was one issued. Perhaps one of my colleagues at you end of the world may be able to advise.

    Fisher & Paykel do not include a fault code guide with the machine.
    Fault codes are provided to their Authorised service agents only.
    I think you must be thinking about the “user faults” which are:

    out of balance …… ………… Spin led flash
    insufficient hot water……… hot water led flash
    No water ……………………….hot & cold led flash.
    etc.
