    There is a Service Code which I guess is the serial number
    8542 406 01810 38 0448 009618

    Anyhow the apliance is about 3 1/2 years old and on being turned on it sticks at the rinse function, beeps continously and flashes 11 times stops and does so again.

    Only a day or so earlier I had to clear the drains to which the machine is attached which may or may not be related.

    Anyt thoughts?

    Ah… right, I did see something about an optical sensor in my search earlier. Not that I think I have one.

    Right down to work and thanks, better take of the suit at this point.
