    Hi, I would be grateful for advice on the following problem. The pilot light lights ok, but then I have to wait 20/30 mins for the flames to fire up to bring the oven to it’s correct temperature. This is a recent development, the cooker has been working correctly for a number of years. APL0220, model no 059040317, serial no 008855. Thank you

    Either the thermocouple or the themostat itself is at fault. You would be foolish to attempt to repair this yourself – the only safe way of repairing the appliance is to use your local CORGI registered engineer.
