Participanthi,
samsung SR-S2028cw
s. 731242BTA00362Rhad a search and can’t find an answer to this one, hope some one can help.
customer switches ff on, fine no worries, compressor seems fine as does the condensor and evaporator fans.
Fridge and freezer get down to temperature.
When they have reached their correct temperature all the display lights start flashing and the freezer will slowly defrost over the period of the day.
if the customer then switches the ff off at the mains socket and then back on again it works fine again, ff comes down in temperature again , then when the correct temp. reached it will flash on the display board again and it defrosts again.
any ideas guys?
thanks.

really struggling with this one guys.
I think i’ll have to chance it and replace the two temperature sensors in the fridge and the freezer and see what happens.
they look the same for both sides, the short one has blue leads the long one has yellow leads.
can any one give me part numbers please.the boim ref is SS20WH3/XEU
any help really appreciated.

it sounds like a problem on the defrost side just meter the o/load heater etc and it should show an open circuit.i always replace the def sensor yellow wire as they are prone to fail as for the blue never changed one.
