Model ECD806. This is my own appliance and I don’t do refrigeration so I nearly posted this in the public forum. When it was new it suffered from condensation on the sides along the edge of the freezer door. I complained and someone (Service Force?) came to look at it. Bloke said there was nothing wrong with the appliance, it was my kitchen that was too cold. I told him the old one never did that but he was not interested. I’ve since moved to a centrally heated house but the problem has remained. The heating is not on at the moment but the weather is quite warm and the condensation is still there. Is it just a case of poor insulation or there anything can be done?

    Hi Phil
Had look at the wiring diag. for you and there is a” transom heater” which is probably an anti condensation heater moulded into the cabinet 😥 . You can check it through from the main connection box, two yellow wires on the L/N terminals should give a fairly high resistance.
