The major manufacturers repair them with heat shrink, so i dont see why not. I wouldnt solder them or you will probably be back to it when they snap again, just twist wires together or crimp like they do on aircraft and heat it up with lighter .

I wouldn’t just twist the wires together.
On aircraft they inline crimp/splice the wires together then apply heatshrink. (Using a heat gun).

Splice a new piece of cable into the loom with butt connectors and make the joints six inches either side of where it was broken. 😉 Soldering is OK, again away from where it broke but remember you cannot use insulation tape alone to insulate, (electrical regs) 🙂

If its more than maybe 1 or 2 wires I always go for a new loom, if available. Even better a repair kit like Whirlpool used to do, if available. Twisting the wires together? no way, I like to sleep at nights. Also always check for leaking rinse aid dispensers, once some of that stuff gets on the wires forget it, new loom or BER.

Would need correct model number to be sure, lots of them have brown fronts, 😉 if it is the small one then it is very unlikely that a loom would be available.
