ParticipantThanks in advance! 🙂
Got sent your way by a friend, the washing machine is intermittently (sp?) not going through its spin dry cycle and so not draining all the water off.
Now I’ve just proved myself wrong and its doing it properly now, but for the last few loads, it hasn’t.
The LEDs on the front stay on ‘wash’ and the ‘spin / end’ one only lights up at the very end when its all finished (not spinning)
Surely it should illuminate whilst spinning?
Any ideas what it could be?Thanks guys 😀

Check the obvious first, Emma. There is a filter trap at the bottom which can get choked, remove it and check. Towel down first, there will be half a pint left in the bottom of the machine. If the machine drains to a spigot under the sink, check that as well.
Remember that the machine will not prform any spin sequence until it detects that the water has been drfained.

I know I am replying late on in this thread, but my sister has one of these machines and it can be tempremental on the spin cycle. It’s out of balance mechanismn is super sensitive and so clothes can be left unspun i.e. soaking wet and need the seperate spin cycle. Same if you leave a load in a rinse and hold cycle it will need to have the dial turned to spin afterwards. (Dial down towards the bottom) – I know because she is forever moaning about it……..but I did offer to buy her a better machine.
She tells me the Spin/End light only comes on when the machine is finished it’s cycle in conjuction with the ready light. The wash light comes on when it is in operation.
I hope that helps you. – 😀 WQ
