Got This Phonecall…

So, the whole TEQ Award thing, never bothered with it TBH as, I reckon, that all customers should be treated equally well or badly as the case may be, so I’ve never tried for it and never given customers any sort of special treatment even if some of them need it. But I digress..

I got a call from Lindsay a few months ago saying that we were doing really well in the charts. Somewhat taken aback I said, okay then, whilst thinking to myself, “that won’t last, we’ll f**k it up later then and that’ll be that”. So, a few weeks later the chart thing came through and we’d dropped a bit and I thought that was it, I was proved right again.

Not so apparently.

I got a call today from Lindsay who, for once, had me speechless when she told me that NW had won it!

Talk about unexpected!

Just shows you though, if some gobsh1te Scot can win it it proves anyone can win it.

I still don’t know how we did it though, I really didn’t think we’d done that well and we sure as sh1t weren’t trying to win it. 😕
