It’s about 3 or 4 years old. Haven’t seen the machine yet but she says it starts up and then starts to fill. After a min it stops with 11 flashes and the book says “Optical water indicator”.
Is this the switch in the bottom faulty or clogged with gunge? I haven’t seen this fault before and any tips before i go to see it will be appreciated 😀

No OWI on this one, it has the diaphragm switch, so start there.

Called today to the dishwasher. As Pengiun said there is no OWI on this machine. The diaphram switch was clogged with gunge. I took apart and cleaned and all is well again. It gives 11 flashes.
