    Hi,
I recently had “flashing twice” error code with this. With help of this forum, discovered that this means float switch activated hence no filling.
Found water in the tray and managed to dry out and reset machine. Following pump cycle, started filling ok. Fantastic! Home & dry ( 😡 ) I thought but, guess what? Another flashing twice error and lots of water in the tray! I guess we have a genuine leak…

My question is, is this easy to self-diagnose or are we looking at engineer visits & associated costs? If down that route then I’m tempted to write the machine off altogether.

Many thanks in advance for any help offered.

Thank you! What fantastic help you give to so many people, saving the planet of unnecessary land-fill in the process.

From the spray pattern I noticed inside the back of the unit I’m guessing the leaking outlet hose is the problem. I understand from the link you kindly provided that there is an alternative (presumably more reliable) Whirlpool replacement part (pump) available.

Do you know whether it is a straightforward process to swap the pump, and whether the part comes with installation instructions, or is it very much an engineer job? If the latter, I’m thinking it is probably uneconomical to fix up what isnt a great dishwasher.

    Thanks again.

Fitting – power off, base off, two clips, three wires and two screws. The fun bit is keeping the retaining clips round and refitting them.
