    Miele W842.
No drum action, When its put on spin after a few seconds rinse light flashes
then ends. Motor brushs O K.
When i blow up pressure tube it does not click,
The pressure switch seems to be part of module I havant come across this type before .
Should this type click and is it a expensive part
    Any ideas

    Re: Miele spin

Hate to say this but if the pressure switch is part of any board then you should never blow up them.My understanding of it is there is a little magnet type set up which passes through a resistior to measure the resistance to allow the board to know how much water is in it and they are very sensitive. so its looks like the board is shot and the board being miele will be very expensive! sorry.
Rinses light is no pulse/signal from tacho within 1.5s so could be brushs, tacho, motor, wiring etc or of course the board hope this helps.

    Thanks,
Its a job i didnt wont,
the price of the board is a silly price,
So i have told them to get a new machine
We charge a set labour charge and some jobs can be to much hassle

Why not have a higher set labour charge for higher value machines. I always do, and no one has ever complained

Hey spanner51…….I love your way of thinking……only perhaps in reverse! I would happily work on an “Expensive” Miele than a “Value” indesit or servis.

I guess it wouldn’t work though …. but a nice idea all the same 💡
