I’m getting pretty p***ed off with the number of boxes coming with a handful of shredded paper as packing coming from, yep them again Connect 👿 . You may as well leave it out of the box for the good it does. Got a Belling grill element with tags bent and ceramic insulators smashed today. Big box, handful of paper to….well do nothing really.
I’m not bothered about the return , its the fact that my customer has to wait and I lose a call that I really can’t afford to lose at the mo.
Masterpart are the other extreme, i.e. where do I put all this shredded cardboard 😉

I put mine in the large green plastic recycling bags that are collected once a fortnight by the local council together with all the cardboard boxes folded flat.

In fact on my drive I have one large black general refuse bin, one large brown bin for glass, tins & plastic bottles etc, one green bin for garden waste, a special weighted bag plus the green sacks for papers & cardboard and on top of all that I have a small green kitchen caddy/bin for food waste that is lined with biodegradable bags ( which I have to buy myself ) when this bag is full it is then deposited into another green bin outside about the size of a box of wine ( 12 bottles) 😉

It is a logistical nightmare trying to remember which bins go out on which week as apart from the food waste bin all the others are once a fortnight collection. 😥

This recycling is a bit of a joke. If I lived in a town or village I would get 2 wheelie bins and 2 plastic boxes and could get a £1000 fine if I put the wrong stuff in the wrong receptacle. Because I live out in the sticks I still just have the one wheelie bin and everything goes in there :rolls: The trouble is, I have a big garden so I could really do with having a brown wheelie bin for the garden waste. As it is I tend to chuck it in the trailer and take it down the tip every couple of months.
Homespares are the best for packing. They screw up heavy duty refuse sacks and put them in the box. I’ve used those sacks for all sorts of things!
