    Hi….Having slightly different problem to most on here, in that my ff92 freezer is not working.When turned on fan under the bottom air grill runs, it then sounds like a micro switch kicks in and theres a buzz from what i think is the compresser (black cannister thing) for a few seconds, does this every minute or so but thats it. Nothing even attempts to get cold, any sugestions please

    The clicking is the start device for the compressor – if it doesn’t kick in, the compressor will have failed. Nasty…..

    Thanks Penguin…So compresser working but only for a few seconds,is this normal… if not would new thermisers sort this out. thanks

    no, the compressors duff, it wont start properly, so cuts out

    chuck it mate, get a proper fridge freezer, gonna cost £100 – £150

    thermistors will not help in any way im afraid

    helo….. not what i wanted to hear cant find anything same size with same spec, more work refitting kitchen…. thanks
