    Hello guys i been reading these forums for awhile and now its time…
    my budget is around £600 my wife LOVES the samsung RSH1NHMH fridges and LG GWB227YUQA any opinion on those and those brands in general?

    Take a read of this article on our pick of the American machines.

    The Korean brands do seem to suffer when it comes to breaking down. There are various threads here Samsung have even featured on watchdog a while ago, granted not for the model you are considering 😉

    If you can up the budget a little then go for one from the Admiral range.

    yer i read them, and your right that the admiral is the better choice but we cnt afford any more then those quoted. out of the two is there anything to choose between them?? ❓

    Out of the two I would go for the Samsung as far as build is concerned. When it comes to aftersales service I know Samsung have a nationwide service network, not so sure about LG though as it isn`t a brand we stock.

    dont buy a samsung

    the lg walks all over it, and beats it by a country mile

    mines 2 years old now and has never missed a heartbeat

    I would agree with Don, the new Samsung RSH range are a superb piece of kit for the money along with full engineer back up; should the need arise. 😀

    any ideas on the WHIRLPOOL 20RID1L? or the whole WHIRLPOOL range i.e 6th sense ones?


    are they any good compared to the samsung ones?

    yep, much better, but the admiral maytag are usually the best

    i guess its the whirlpool ones which i need to look at, damn those samsungs look sexy in black!!

    i thought whirlpool were not good as technological companys like samsung
