ParticipantHi
We have owned this for what seems like an eternity and all was well until the weekend.Everything seems to be working at the same time, heater pumps etc and the timer does not move; will polish the pots cus it will run and run and run….. but timer does not move.
I am assuming its the programmer / timer but not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure. Any ideas?
Great site by the way!!

This is the old Brandt-built machine. Will the timer not advance from any position, or does it run and then stick?

Does not advance, literally stays put and all hell let loose breaks out.
Got myself a mini sauna 😆 just sits there pumping, draining and heating all at the same time… well at least that what it looks like is happening. Its about 15yrs old… er was like new we hardly ever used it.July 14, 2008 at 9:16 pm #257716Penguin45

Hmm – not logical. Might be worth getting the decor door and door panel off and having a look at the area where the wiring passes under the tub – vulnerable to breakages and shorts with it being flexed everytime the door is opened and closed.
Beyond that, it more or less has top be the programme timer.
Stay safe, power off if investigating.

Have had this in 101 pieces tonight, found a couple of damaged cables under the door and also some dodgy connectors on the timer/programmer. 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} confident I had fixed it put it all back togther and the programmer / timer is stuck, no matter where you put it; it dont move. Looks like a replacement programmer then? Anyone know where to get a cheapy from? 😆
Thanks

Unfortunate…. Timer is p/no 31X5628 – an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you a price and delivery information.
