Hi all, working on Hoover condencer dryer model tc50, original fault was no heat, both the empty water and clean filter lights were on, found heater was faulty took out drum fitted new heater oiled jokey pulleys and rear bearing, heater now works and filter light has gone off but empty water light still on, have looked at the pressure switch it has three terminals, the middle brown the left blue (to water warning light) the right terminal goes to heater, tested middle to blue breaks circuit if i blow into pressure switch, should this not be the other way round? could pressure witch be faulty?

Just a suggestion when you stripped it down did you notice the neon postions, have you placed them back wrong way round ?

Pretty sure they are in the right place, plus the neon that come on is fed from pressure switch.
