    Hi, Can anybody help me!

I have a Diplomat ADP 8520 Dishwasher, only 3 years old, which will allow me to set the normal wash programme, it will then start the wash programme then after about 10 minutes just when the soap tablet slot pops open (you can here it pop and the tablet drop out into the machine) the machine then cuts out and stops completely. usually results in tripping out my consumer electric unit!

I then have to wait usually about 2-3 hours before the machine will let me re-start it and then try again.

Does anybody have any ideas what could be the problem? Has anybody else experienced this! Help!!!!
    Thanks!!!! 😀

i’ll hazard a guess that the detergent-dispenser solenoid or wiring is faulty.

I’m not an expert,so don’t take that as gospel!

you’ll need a multimeter at the very least, unless there are obvious “burnt” tracks. (unlikely, as you say you’re on trips, which will cut with the smallest fault.

Dispenser and heater both possible suspects, as is the mains suppressor. The “clunk” of the dispenser opening is also the cue for the heater to come on; the suppressor may break down under the additional load.
