My Indesit IDL 57 starts a program fills and has its first turbo boost, then the first light (prewash) light flashes. I have tilted the machine to reset the float and cleared the pump of any obstruction. Also checked the water in pipe and waste water pipe, all seems to be ok…………HELP PLEASE!!!

Hiya. it flashes continuously. The dishwasher still makes a noise as if its working…..or ticking over…. and the water remains in the base of the machine as you can not see water when you open it. The heating elements are heating up, but of course there is no water there to heat up!Re: Indesit dishwasher error light
You should not need to tilt the machine to reset the float unless the base of the machine has flooded.
The first light flashing suggests a flooded base.
If water runs out when you tilt it then you need to find out where this water is coming from and cure the leak.
Be sure to remove the mains plug before you do this.
