ParticipantLast week the plumber unplugged my GW709AU Smart Drive Excellence 7.5kg from mains to use his tools on the only power outlet in the garage. After plugging it back in we get nothing – completely dead. The controller board (426471G) has a dead sub miniature fuse (F124 – 1.6AT) and a transister shorting to gate (G4RC10S) which was evident by brown discolouration on the board around it. I can source replacements for these from rs-online. There is also another component with a small piece blown out of the top which made identification difficult given pieces of the id text where gone. I managed to find the piece and place it back to take a photo. (see link below – component has a faint red circle around it – text 75309 and G027CC from my interpretation)

Does anyone know what the component is, because I cannot find a replacement matching it.
Thanks

Ok I found out what this is – an Intersil (now Fairchild) HUF75309T3ST 3A, 55V, 0.070 ohm, N-Channel MOSFET. The closest alternative my supplier stocks is a International Rectifier IRLL024N, so going to give that a go.

I know this post was four years ago however it is very relevant to me as I have the same board with EXACTLY the same symptoms. Ie fuse blown, one G4RC10S transistor blown with a brown mark on the board. Also the component as shown in the photo has a piece blown from it which makes it difficult to identify also. The first two letters are ‘GO’.
Any information on this would be appreciated. I am also wondering what is the cause as I would like to determone this before I reinstall a good board in case it blows that one too.
Regards

further info. I now realise the water was almost to the top of the machine when it stopped. Also the cooked transistor was the one switching on pump “A”. Perhaps a faulty pump?
