    Strange problem i haven’t seen before. Switch on the machine and press the start button. Goes to active but might suddenly stop and go back to on. Might do it a few times and then the machine might start off and work ok. I suspect PCB, anyone else come across this fault?

    Have you checked for dry joints. Its possible with it being intermittent.

    On further investigation it seems like some sort of bad connection. No dry joints though. When you tap the pcb with something it goes into standby everytime. My conclusion is a bad connection inside the selector unit part.
