ModeratorMachine tripping breaker, element down to earth.
Customer said it had been a little noisy recently.
Removed heater and there are signs that it has been catching inner drum.
How is the heater prevented from hitting the inner drum on this machine. I can see no sign of a bollard or drum moulding. No signs of anything that has broken off inside the drum or hoses. 😕

Participantthere is a bracket for it
a lot of those came without one
the only way, other than ordering a bracket, is to bend the heater down, so it touches the outer tub
not always the best idea
ill try and find a part numberJuly 28, 2008 at 3:48 pm #258586rogue_element

its a wire loop, much like the zanussi idea, and you can, at a pinch slide it in throught the heater hole, if your careful
hope this helps

You could also try a shorter heater if you have one. Same idea as when the hoover logic range of machines lost their bracket. Electrolux heater 50681360009 worked a treat. (I think that was the part number.?)

Thanks folks, perhaps the Hotpoint WMA heater will suffice.

You might find the rubber seal is different? Shoulders on Beko no shoulders on WMA. Still if you seal it up and put a retaining clip on the heater to a mounting post somewhere that should stop it from popping out!!
I find that shaping the spring from a servis door handle kit provides a good retainer. Or shaping the bracket that holds the drain hose in place on the back of hoover/candy machines another alternative.
Peace of mind is a wonderful thing!!!
