    Dear all,

    I have an Diplomat Range ADP5426 and the top oven is hot even when it is switched off. I googled it and it came up with a few entries on a white goods forum with others experiencing the same problem (Navrig, carrsx -responses by Penguin45). Parts were replaced without the problem being sorted.

    Did anyone have any joy as to which part to replace?

    In the mean time I have turned the oven off at the wall.

    Can’t think what oven that 1 is at moment, but there a a few Diplomat range ovens that suffer with faulty stats in top and bottom oven. When u have the dial to off yet it gets warm generally not very hot, but just warm.
    Stats are always the cause of the problem. They are what power the oven and its basicly powering your oven when the dial is off postion.
