    Hi,

    We have a Bosch Excel Maxx (Model number – SGS53A02) that has stopped dispensing the detergent tablet. It seems like the mechanism for releasing the sliding cover to the detergent compartment has stopped working.

    Has anybody got any idea how this can be fixed?

    Most probably the wax actuator has failed in the dispenser unit.
    This can be purchased, if proved faulty; on its own from spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk quoting p/no 166635 😉

    Power off before attempting any repair on the appliance :plug:
