    Does anyone know what the 2nd light from the left flashing on a hotpoint BFI62 built in dishwasher means ? the machine starts fills with water, then cuts out runs the pump then flashes the light ?

    Any help would be good, thanks

    Its supposed to mean the fill valve is faulty. always worth checking for leaks into the base and earth faults on the heating element on these Indesit machines.

    Ok, thanks for that info, water valve changed, no difference made to the machine, the heater element meggers all ok and theres no leaking to earth there. But machine still fills and then cuts out and runs the drain pump, still flashed the 2nd from left light. No leaks on the machine, overflow float is ok too.
    Getting at a loss to think what can be wrong with this dishwasher now.
    Any further help would be great.

    Thats easy to answer, its made by Indesit. :rolls:

    The electronics are just as unreliable as the rest of the machine.
